The Farr family moved into "Cahirciveen" back in February 1986 together with our children Craig & Samantha. Both children have long since moved away, with Craig living in Surrey and Samantha living in Australia. We have two black labradors sisters from the same litter.

"Cahirciveen" is a large four bedroom detached property standing in it's own grounds of around a quarter of an acre. The name "Cahirciveen" comes from a town of the same name in County Kerry, Eire - the name means "Little Sadhbh's (Irish mythology) Stone Ringfort", it was chosen by the property builder.

Completely surrounded by a high fence, entry to the house is via tall double gates from the Lower Wokingham Road, the property sits alongside "Roman Ride", part of the road known as the Devil's Highway (from Roman times), which leads to wonderful walks through the woods to the Finchampstead Ridges.

"Cahirciveen" sits on the border between Finchampstead & Crowthorne, it's conveniently placed less than half a mile from Crowthorne train station with it's links to Reading and London, our house is around one mile from the prestigious Wellington College and less than 4 miles from the famous Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. It's a really handy location, being only three miles from the shops at Wokingham & about 6 miles from both Camberley or Bracknell.
